Frequently asked
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the app, tap the gear icon for Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If the restore does not work, email us.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device's Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Pickleball Score Counter and tap Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions can only be cancelled through Apple.
Is my data backed up?
Your matches are stored on your device, and cloud backup is optional. Open Settings, sign in with Apple, Google or your email address, then back up. Your matches are encrypted on your phone before they are uploaded, with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain, so we cannot read a backup. Backing up is part of Pro, on demand or automatically after changes; signing in and restoring an existing backup are free. Without a backup, deleting the app or losing your device means the data cannot be recovered.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, tap Cloud Features, then tap Delete Account and confirm. The option shows while you are signed in. This deletes your Cairn account and every backup it holds, across all Cairn apps that share the account, and cannot be undone. Data on this phone stays until you delete the app. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or its backups. If you never signed in, there is no account to delete.
Can I export my data?
Data export is free for everyone. Go to Settings » Export Data to save your matches as a CSV file. You can share the file via email, AirDrop, or any other sharing method.
Does the app use Apple Health?
Only if you turn on Save Matches to Apple Health in Settings. Each match you finish is then saved to Apple Health as a pickleball workout, so it counts toward your activity. The app never reads your health data. To stop, turn the switch off. To remove access, open the iPhone Settings app, then Health, then Data Access & Devices.
Why am I being charged?
All charges are processed by Apple. To check your subscriptions, open Settings and tap your name, then Subscriptions. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Accessibility
Pickleball Score Counter is built to work with iOS accessibility features:
- Dynamic Type: text resizes with your device's text size setting. A handful of compact elements, like the rally history table and small badges, cap how large they scale so the layout stays legible instead of overlapping.
- VoiceOver: section headings are marked so you can jump between them with the VoiceOver rotor.
- Differentiate Without Color: wins and losses are marked with a W or L letter in addition to color, so results are never color-only.
- Dark Interface: the app follows your system-wide Light or Dark setting, with a palette tuned to meet WCAG AA contrast in both modes.
